A COURAGEOUS AND BRAVE SOLDIER

One, who is born on the earth, must leave the earth one day there being only the difference of time some leave early and some late, this is the rule of nature. But the truth is that some leave their sign behind themselves.

Like Late Capt S K Choudhary,KC(Posthumous), SM who lit his life like a candle and gave inspiration to his successors. His daring attitude and courage proved that the word 'fear' was not in his dictionary. 20-25 years ago the fertile land of Assam came under the influence of ULFA who showed day dreams to the poor and innocent people of an independent and autonomous Assam and started extortion and other violent activities. To ruin these ULFA activities Capt S K Choudhary,KC(Posthumous), SM was posted in an area which was highly affected by it. The terror of Capt Choudhary even terrified the ULFA org who wanted to be identified internationally. Capt Choudhary, SM was an obedient and fearless officer. His activities and habits were different from his companion officers. Due to his obedient and dutiful service, he achieved great success. In the service of the nation, he sacrificed his life and left us today. God took him away from us may be God also requires these kind of persons. His sacrifice in the service of the nation shall be a remarkable note in the history of the armed forces. We shall strive to follow the path which he has shown us.
